Ally Bank CD Rates
It’s time once again to update you on the current Ally Bank CD rates, this being one of the most popular banks here at Best CD Rates Info thanks to their consistently high certificate of deposit returns. The last time we looked at Ally CD rates, they were still called GMAC Bank/Ally Bank on their site. The name change is complete, though, but the best CD rates are still available there more often than not.
The special Ally Bank certificate of depsoit rates are still on the No Penalty CD offer. This 9-month term CD has a 2.15% annual percentage yield (APY) with a 1 year auto-renew at standard rates. It allows you to withdraw from or close the account once during its initial period without penalty, however.
Other Ally CD rates worth considering are the 6 month rates at 1.75% APY and the one year or 13 month, both at 2.30% APY. The three year is also good at 2.95% APY and the five year is very competitive at 3.50% APY.
All of these Ally Bank CD rates have a low $1 opening minimum. AS per usual, most of the Ally offers are the best CD rates nationally, or at least ranking in the top 3.
All Ally Bank accounts are fully FDIC insured to the extent of the law. Of course, the best CD rates you see here might change soon, so if any of these Ally CD rates appeal to you, lock your rate in now.
